In the business since the late nineties, we’ve helped tens of thousands of people learn to drive and pass their test through an ever-growing national network of RED Driving Instructors.
We also appreciate that though learning to drive is really important, it should still be FUN. You learn quicker when you’re enjoying yourself, and we go out of our way to ensure learning to drive, which some can find a scary prospect, is much easier than you think.
About Red Driving School
We’ve been teaching people to drive for nearly ten years now and in that time we’ve helped thousands of people pass their driving test with the minimum of fuss and hassle.

With RED, we set out to make your learning experience fun and exciting and aim to help you reach that wonderful L.P.D.M (L-plate Disposal Moment) as quickly and enjoyably as possible! Learning to drive is a serious business, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun.
What We Offer
Red Driving School instructors run lessons to cater for all your learning needs, pre- or post- test across the UK, with free local pick up and no car sharing! We have a dedicated fleet of Black Vauxhall Corsas spread across the country, ready to help you pass.

Lesson Prices
We have an introductory offer for first time drivers with Red - your first session is half price! Book your first two hour lesson today, but only pay for the first hour (except bookings for a one off pre test lesson).
The cost of a one hour lesson ranges from £18 - £24 dependant on where you live, once you’ve taken advantage of our new learner starter offer, we have further special offers available for block-bookings. Your instructor will be pleased to put together a package that’s right for you.

Many people book a regular two hour lesson, making their learning more intensive.
With your goal in sight, you might want to speed up and take your Theory Test at the earliest possible date - it's up to you.
On the other hand, if you prefer you can pre-book on a lesson-by-lesson basis, giving you total flexibility.

A lot of people ask us how long it will take them to learn to drive unfortunately there’s no sure-fire way to answer such a question. However, the good people at the DSA use a formula to estimate how many lessons you might need, based on your age (your age x 1.5).
